This Mazda Miata was parked on an access road running alongside an interstate, nowhere near our house, or an exit for that matter; somehow, my eagle-eyed stepfather spied the “For Sale” sign on its windshield en route to Jeff’s Corvair Ranch (more on that later), and we put on the four-ways to scope it out on the way back.

After hiking through thickety underbrush to reach the car, parked at the end of a ludicrously long driveway, I was greeted with the above signage.

Needless to say, the phone number was useless, too. I guess voicemail hasn’t made it out to Fredericks yet.
